Gotta be pretty close with all of those cooling ducts.

I’m not a knowledgeable aero guy, but why would it have inlets in front of the tires like that (the little squares where the overfender meets the fender, where the double canards are). That’s a really turbulent spot and creates lift, from my understanding. Wouldn’t it be better to push all that air over the fender?

only logical thing I could guess is brake cooling was their intent.

That looks insane now but all it does to me is call RE Amemiya (the RX7 kit tuners) and tell them to go do to an NA/NB Miata what they do to their FDs.

Probably ducting for oil coolers or something like that

It looks like someone parked a Miata inside of a widebody Rx7.

Seems like a new thing seems to be some sort of air-curtain feature that pushes a little bit of high pressure air into the front wheelhouse, around the tire , with a low-pressure extraction point at the top, or at the back, to accelerate the air out of the wheelhouse and extract more air out than the bit that was forced in, by creating a flow path.

There also seems to be a trend to send a skirt of air across the outside surface of the front wheel and tie , to create a curtain across it and down the side of the car, to avoid the front wheel causing turbulence.

McLaren 720S, and some other new supercars seem to utilize that technique

However, this Miata seems to be a lot of aero for the sake of having a lot of aero.

And I have to wonder, why not just buy a used Viper ACR, instead of all this?
